Or merciless and evil and..]]> My friend Jesse used to wrestle with his brother, who would bend Jesse’s arm around his back until it hurt. The more he fought back and protested and shouted the harder the brother pushed.

When he simply let it happen, silent, not showing any sign of torment, his brother would get bored and let him go.
