It’s always a real treat when someone (even a total stranger) will go out of their way to help you along. There are a couple people I wanted to thank, even within the first couple days of traveling.

To the airline stewardess (who wasn’t on duty but traveling and sitting next to me) who gave me a free water. It’s always good to have more water than you think you need in that recycled air in the plane…

…the NYC guy who kept the bus door open when he saw I was dealing with a large pack and other bags.

..to Pedro Padilla and Karen Tang for letting me stay at their place and getting a glimpse of their awesome worlds.

It fills me up with that warm fuzzy. Thanksamillie!
